 My Last Vacation

I came to The United States of America since last January 2013. I had a different kinds of holidays here, but for me and other American people Thanksgiving break is a unique one. On the first three days of my vacation, I spent it in Los Angeles with my relatives. Moreover, three of my friends came from different states and enjoyed their stayed with me here. After that, I came back to Fullerton to celebrate this special event with my previous host family. They invited me to eat Turkey and mash potatoes with their whole family. I really enjoyed how the American family gathering on that day. In addition, we decided to eat desert on that day in a park which is located in Brea.

On last Friday, most of people was saved what he or she has of energy to go shopping and catch the special offers that most of shops has. I was in Beverly Center after midnight waiting for shops to open and I was lucky because I got all of what I was looking for. I bought different presents for my family. However, I'm still need to go to Desert Outlet with ALP this Saturday to see if any stuff left.

This kind of holiday is completely different from what we have in my country. Therefore, there is no certain days for people to gather, but this kind of thing happen each week especially on Friday. When we finish from a specific prayer on that day, we go and visit our relatives because that our religion encourage us to do.

A Person that I Admire

A Person that I Admire

As we grow up, there are many people who affected our lives because of their personal attitudes or what they gave only to make me happy. However, among all people that I have faced in my life, the person I admire most is my father for some reasons.
First of all, he always gives me advices and suggestions in each single matter that I face. He has enough experience to do that because of his age and what he knew from this life. He was studying in the United States of America for his Bachelor’s degree, so he pushed me to go outside to learn something new and to be more independent person. I can’t even blame myself for this decision because it’s completely right.
Secondly, my father has a unique character that I can’t describe and compare it with someone else. He encourages me to do the right things and whatever I did; I should not look to the past and what happened is happening. He gave me unforgettable words and phrases that stuck in my mind.
In conclusion, they said “a father is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes but instead lets you find your own way even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt”.
There are no appropriate words can describe how I really admire my father and I always thanks my God and pray to give him a long happy life.
